About Moore NHC

An Audit Service That Goes Beyond Compliance

At Moore NHC, we provide external audit and assurance services to a wide range of clients across the Northern Home Counties, and the wider region, via our offices in Goffs Oak and Stevenage. We work with Companies, Charities and other Organisations, across a range of sectors, from small companies below the audit threshold, to larger entities with turnover up to £130 million.

We pride ourselves on offering a bespoke service to our clients through an in-depth understanding of your business. We build a relationship with our clients based on trust and ensure that regulatory requirements are dealt with efficiently and in line with your requirements. We go beyond a compliance based role and work with our clients as trusted business advisors. Our focus is to add real value to our clients, through regular industry updates and practical recommendations. We take the time to get to know our clients and invest in building a relationship with you. We don't see audit as being a once a year tick box exercise, and have regular catch ups throughout the year end to ensure that we can advise and assist as matters arise.

how it works

How Our Audit Process Works

01. Understand Your Organisation

We begin by getting to know your organisation, structure, goals, reporting requirements, systems, controls, and any challenges you are facing.

02. Plan the Audit Clearly

We agree the audit timetable, explain the information we need, and plan the work carefully so your team has time to prepare and the process runs efficiently.

03. Carry Out the Audit and Identify Key Findings

We complete the audit work using a structured approach, secure digital tools, and data-led testing to provide assurance and identify risks or areas for improvement.

04. Report Clearly and Support You Year-Round

We provide clear feedback, explain our findings, and remain available throughout the year to answer questions and support your organisation beyond the audit itself.
